Equinox Group companies do not focus just on recruiting individuals that are performance-oriented, although that is certainly a prerequisite. We look for individuals who are also likely to fit in well with the rest of our existing team, who have an outgoing personality and who are able to react quickly and rationally if put on the spot and who have a degree of general knowledge in addition to being subject matter experts in their area of expertise. We look for character traits that make it sufficiently evident that the person is capable of handling, and even welcome, constructive criticism whenever performance feedback will need to be provided at any time in the future. We also look for evidence that the person is capable of deep analysis, of handling situations with diplomacy while reining in any possible resulting negative emotions and of being psychologically resilient.

We are also willing to invest heavily in the further development of the right people. Because of this, we look for people who can commit to staying with us for at least 3 years. To us it is important to ensure that our clients are satisfied and are being served with the care and respect they deserve, and to that end, we aim to make sure that the members of staff we recruit are on our same wavelength.

Rather than specialising in specific industries, we specialise in specific service areas. These areas usually (with some exceptions) have a very wide basis of industrial application. Having said that, it is worth mentioning that while we do not deal exclusively with these industries, we’ve been heavily involved in public utilities, finance, remote gaming, software development, culture and logistics.

Once we see the potential in someone and recruit him/her we ensure that they get an environment in which they can actually realise their potential to the maximum possible extent. We believe that excessive stress and pressure are the enemies of productivity, creativity and innovation, so we aim to decrease them as much as possible whenever they cannot be avoided.
